THIN HAIR(Getting too thin,Scalp visible) & DANDRUFF....Can someone please help?

Hello Everyone,

I also used to have very long and thick hair until i came to delhi(2 years back).After coming to delhi i have lost all the hair and it was becoming thin, so got the haircut, and the hair fall continued and now my hair is so thin that scalp is visible. I was not bothered about it until my In-laws pointed out as my MIL is a bigfan of my hair .

One of my friend had a bald patch on her head and a doctor suggested her to use a lotion MOMATE LOTION from Glenmark, and to her and my surprise we noticed regrowth on new hair on her cricket ground (on the patch), so i thought of trying it, to my surprise even i am getting my hair back, hope it grows well . I am happy with this lotion. Its very small bottle like our ear drops.

 

How to use the lotion? Where we can get it? What is the procedure to use?

Please explain in detail

As far as I know there is nothing which can bring a dead follicle to life....so could please let us know the ingredients mentioned on the MOMATE lotion. It would good for all of us to know if the product is safe to use in the long run.

This weekend i am planning to apply henna. I did not get that henna powder. Shall i use the existing banjaras henna which i have already????

Regarding the ingredients Mometasone Furoate IP 0.1% w/v, Aqueous base q.s . I dont know whether dead follicle will come to life or not, but i have seen new hairs coming on my head .

The doctor advised me to apply few drops of the lotion on the area where there is less hair, and massage it with you fingers for 2 - 3 min before going to bed, After 10-15 days i could see some new hairs are growing and along with that i could see a lot of white color stuff on my head, i first thought that i got dandruff and i consulted the demotologist, she said that it was the dead skin on my scalp which is now getting removed due to the lotion and the massage, after the dead sking gets removed completely then i will get more hair, as i have very thick hair earlier.

This lotion we can get in any medical stores. It is a very small bottle of 15ml that all.

 

Thanks Srilata for the info. I googled on Mometasone furoate - it is a cortisteroid so I guess we cant use it as an over the counter medication. But since you have taken your doctor's advice, please let us know of the progress. New hair is definitely a good sign. Your update will really help.

I did henna pack on this weekend. Really so nice. My hair seems very soft and body became as cool. all my grey hair is gone. thanks for your lovely tips.

I did not add the beet route juice and vitamin tablets since i reached home very late on that day. i have made the paste on friday night as :

banjaras henna powder
thick tea dicotion
lemon
curd

Onsaturday have applied at 9.30 and washed with plain water at 1.30 PM after that applied coconut oil on my hair.

Sundary - again applied oil in the morning and washed with shampoo at 2.15 PM. Initially i washed with L'oreal shampoo but felt that oil is not removed fully and then again i put a herbal shampoo which i used to wash my hair then only the oil fully came out.

why hair is observing more oil now??? and also henna smell is also coming from my hair??

i noted onething ther is no hair fall that much. thanks swaran.

Reg Beetrout juice:

My co-sister told that beetroute juice color wont be there on our hair and it wont give the color. Is it true??? did you try with this?

My MIL told that all these you should do on your earlier age not now and at this age i dont think so it will reflect the changes on your hair and body. After i heared this i more disappointed and did not say anything :-(

My hubby liked the more beauty from me for his only i did all these :-(.
