21 day Challenge - Buddies needed

    Am a part of other weight loss 2012 & other threads. Just pepped in this thread to check any updates.

    Daily, you eat rice for your lunch?

    Climbing stairs is really good. In our gym, we have an equipment for climbing stairs.

    Hi Ladies,

    Count me in.

    My updates:

    I was very perfect today and going good on my diet & ex part as well.

    Food Diet:

    Break fast - oats
    11.30am - fruits
    1pm - chapati(to my wonder, I was unable to eat more today. Usually, 3 chapati will make me full. but today I felt with 2, I was full)
    eve - 1 mild spice puff
    dinner - 1 bowl papaya
    later, had one mini dosa(small size)


    Ex plan:

    stepper - 100calories
    tread mill - 200 calories
    Again did stepper - 200 calories

    Tomorrow, we have a holiday here, so we were let go early today. I ex ed mid noon for 1.5hrs :2thumbsup:

    Feeling very tired today. Planning to take rest :p

    hi friends my today updates
    treatmill-40 minutes and lost 100 calories
    yoga: 15 minutes
    thinking of doing same @ 4pm

    my diet:
    8 AM: lemon and honey with warm water
    10 AM: oats kanji
    10.30 AM ginger juice and honey in warm water
    12 PM water melon juice
    and yet to have lunch and update later.........

    Hi Kadal - Its gr8 that you are maintaining diet even while traveling. I would sure like to know how are you doing that. Since, I also need to travel due to work and everytime I travel my diet goes haywire. Maintaining diet is almost half the battle won!!! See this thread -

    As Anitha said climbing stairs is also part of exercise. Its good as long as we are moving and not sedentary.

    Hi Teechak - Small frequent meals and exercise is what I have read and heard everywhere that helps in losing weight. I too am trying to follow the same.

    Hi Deepara- Its ok. Not Feeling well is one way of the body to say it needs rest, so gr8 that you took rest. Dont worry about not posting. We all here to support each other. Missing 1-2 days is ok. All we need is not to completely stop our exercise. Experts say that 30 minutes of exercise even 3 days a week is good enough. So lets keep trying :)

    My Update
    Day 8 - July 3 - 20 minutes on treadmill. Burnt 75 calories. Walked 1.5 kms
    Had a gorgeous lettuce and fruit salad at night for dinner. (I had added one more challenge of including one salad every day, so this is the update for the same)

    Looking forward to more updates from all the ladies here.

    yesterday diet:
    morning- cofee
    bfast- pomegranate juice
    lunch- 2 potato stuffed chapathi, beans
    evening- 1 piece sandwich
    dinner- 1 chapathi, legumes, two egg white

    bfast-2 boiled eggs + 1 cup buttermilk + 1 mango
    cinnamon tea in office
    Lunch - 2 chapatis + lauki kofta curry + flax seed meal (tisi) dal + dahi + salad of 1 cucumber

    Evening & night - not decided yet

    me too wanna join.

    i want to shed 12kgs and have a goal of shedding 4 kgs this month.dont knw if i can make it or not.but trying hard to stick with my diet and exercise

    today's diet:

    morning:water with lemon and 5 almond soaked in water
    Breakfast:Moongdal sprouts chat
    Lunch:3 phulka with 1 cup chane ki sabji,salad
    evening: 2 guava and 10 almonds
    dinner: 1 glass milk

    Exercise:

    Yoga(only breathing exercise):30 mins
    callanetics:30 mins
    brisk walking:30 mins
