    Hi freinds from Singapore,

Here I am again with some query. My son is 4 year old and was thinking of admitting him in DPS as couple of my husband's colleagues have their kids studying there. But off late was collecting more info on the school and herad from some other people that NPS is best. According to them GIIS and NPS rank better than DPS. Now I am really confused about chosing the right school. Friends can you tell me which school is better. In what order would you rank the following schools?
    1. NPS
    2. DPS
    3. GIIS
    4. Yuvabharathi.

It will be really great if some one can throw some light on this. I am totally confused. Please help me make a decision.

    Hi Sushmavja,
Thanks for the prompt response. I hope some parents in Singapore can give me more feedback. Yes, I saw that the fee is more from their website. Awaiting for more responses.

I hear NPS is good...though my kid is studying in GIIS. I find this school average...teachers are so-so only. They just keep on increasing fess every year with no updates in facilities given to children

How about DPS? I noticed it follows ICSE curriculum. How does that differ from GIIS's CBSE curriculum. In India my kid is in DPS but in CBSE syllabus. I got the DPS syllabus (i.e monthly planner) of class 1 from their website. Can anyone give me the GIIS syllabus (monthly planner) for class 1.

    Hi Akhila,
As far as I know,at grade 1 level, syllabus won't be much different. MY personal opinion is that DPS,singapore is not upto the mark.I'm not sure if it has the same reputation that it has in INdia.MY kid was in GIIS till recently till we moved out of Singapore, and I have no complaints. She learned a lot and was happy there. NPS is good, but the fees is a big consideration. Hope that helps.
    All the best
