    அவன் கடை கடையாக ஏறினான்
    கண்டான் ஒரு அழகான பூங்கொத்தை
    இன்று காதலர் தினமாயிற்றே
    மற்றவர்கள் கண்ணில்படும் முன் அதை வாங்கினான்
    சென்றான் விரைவில் தன் வீட்டை நோக்கி
    தட்டினான் கதவை மெல்ல மெல்ல
    மலர்ந்த முகத்துடன் அவள் திறந்தாள் கதவை
    அன்பு பொங்க பூங்கொத்தை கொடுத்தான் அவள் கையில்
    தான் பரிவோடு செய்த உணவை பரிமாறினாள் அன்புடன்
    அவனும் ஆசையுடன் அதை உட்கொள்ள
    அவன் அன்பு அவன் கொடுத்த மலரைவிட மென்மையென அவள் நினைக்க
    அவள் மலர்ந்த முகமே பூங்கொத்தைவிட உயர்ந்தது என அவன் நினைத்தான்

    Yes. It is written actually on the Valentine's Day. Even my blog, "The Flower that makes the difference" was written on the same day as well. Thank you for your nice feedback. But I have to admit that I enjoy your poems better than my writing (I do not want to call them poems).
