I have read in many Beauty Magazines that applying Honey on the face lightens the skin and makes you look Bright. But my Mother feels that if accidentally the Honey drops fall on the Eye brows/Eye Lashes or Hair, it may turn Grey/white???

Is this true??In such case how do they use Honey in Beauty products/Parlour???

    Hi

my mom also told the same.. my beautician said to me that take one spoon honey and add one spoon lemon juice mix them well and apply on face and neck.. wash with water after dry.. it gives face bright and soft skin too.. but take this once in a month.. bcos lemon juice contains citric acid it will affect some skins that why..
    All the best..

    Hi
Usually we never apply any face packs nearer to our eye-brows/eye lashes. So in this case too.Care should be taken not to apply excessive which will result in dripping.Honey has a nourishing, bleaching, astringent and antiseptic effect on the skin.Even the bleaching effect is very very minimal.Actually honey acts as a cleanser and makes the skin firm and brighter, for us it looks as though it had bleached the skin.

Honey is the main ingredients in the Spa beauty treatments.

For years,I'm using honey+lemon juice mix twice in a month.I'm using this just to tighten skin to close my open pores which were caused during steaming(regular user of steam inhaling for my sinuses).Really the open pores are minimized.

Nowadays honey+(natural ingredients like lemon) facial scrubs, masks, face wash are available in market.Just glance this links

    Hai,

I also apply once in a month honey 1sp mixed with 1sp of any fruit pulp (Papaya / Apple / Orange) which makes the skin bright.

Honey is a good agent to remove pigmentation. I apply honey with lemon and it really helps
