Since you have POCS,did you consult your DR to take Metformin.Metformin would help initially to shed some pounds. You may need to see Endocrinologist.

Or initially check with your primary physican.Atleat for me Metformin helped me to shed some pounds after my delivery.

I buy creek yogurt and I feel it had more protein and you can eat during the evening time. And also fish, you don't need big cooking.Just saute on the pan for 10min or bake it ,it will be done in no time. You can have for lunch.

Greens like palak or any other green you can saute them and it will take only 10min and you can eat big quantities.Eddame also good. You can buy frozen and microwave it with salt.

    I did have a PCOS.

Somehow I have tendency gain weight after the delivery.I gained like 25 pounds after the delivery.I don't know the reason. It could be the extreme stress. Then I visited Endocrinologist and he put me on Metformin 750mg(2 at night) extended release.I didn't have much problem with it thorugh. But I do regular exercise and physically active.I don't know when I lost it but I lost the weight which I gained.
But I beleive without Metformin it would have been difficult.

As you know you need to watch your carbs. For lot of people Metformin would help along with regular physical exercise.Try to be active in the home and do some YOGA(that will not hurt you).

Start eating brown rice or cracked wheet or oats.Include more fruits and vegetables. If you could start doing all these then you may start seeing result a month. This should be your life long modification and not for a sometime.

Meformin should taken after the meal.

Don't get depressed.Body will take sometime to start loosing weight. This is not a month process.Think like 2 years process.Try to adopt healthy food as much as you could.

Like whole wheat roti and everything whole grains.Keep walking and keep active. You journey just started and it's long way to go.Doing exercise and eating right food is important to everyone and there is nothing much you are loosing even though you don't see weight change.
