advice?

Hi,

I don't know what's wrong with few desi people. They act too rude and think they are the queens. How do you handle these people?. They have no respect for anyone nor they care about anyone other than themselves. I feel bad sometimes. It's so hard to find humble people anymore.

What if they think they are queens???You can also think you are queen of queens....LOL...Okay jokes apart.

Why do you actually need to care about them.Just ignore those ladies.They were never part of your life earlier.Why should they bother you now?The next time you see them , ignore them and walk bindaas.

Yes. But my guess compare to other countries we indians not had much unity ; hard truth. Everyone wants to show they are on top with other desi people.
Here in this forum we can see thread like 'can there any north indians,south indian in this place that place?' Funny they don't want indian.. Reason apart. Reasons like common language to speak...but are you in India it is other country and get some indian friends here.

i am experiencing the same anywhere i go.i have seriously stopped looking for a desi face while i'm shopping/in public place.Happiness lies in ourselves not outside is my super latest policy

Hey really? I really never experienced any such rude looks.When ever I happened to make an eye to eye contact with anyone, I just smile and they smile back.Otherwise I mind my own business and don't make any effort to make eye contact and smile unless and otherwise it happens naturally.

Have you guys ever smiled at them or you expect them to smile at you first ? I am just curious .

Not only in US, my mom from chennai sometimes complains the same even there be yr folks or friends. Everyone is getting busier and becoming egoistic and they all think that they dont want each other except for a handful of people. So, you will not get any answers if you crack yrself very hard..Sure you will come across many people in yr life and pick them whoever is good and ignore the others coz, it is a waste of time & energy(realized the fact after 10 yrs experience).
