    Hi everyone,

I went through a painful miscarriage few months back and I'm in India at present. We were in ttc last 2 months and were not successful. We visited Gynec in India and underwent a folicular study this week. We found out, I am not ovulating ( no dominant follicle on 11 n 13th day and Endometrium thickness is just 5 and 5.5 respectively). I am truly depressed hearing this, since my biological clock is ticking fast. I am 27+ and my DH is 32. Please suggest me ladies what I should be doing next?

My doctor concluded saying I am a victim of anovulation and should undergo treatment. The problem is, I will be leaving next week to US and not sure how to get help from fertility specialist in US. How much does it cost for infertility treatment in US? According to current Gynec, I should start taking Clomid, but I heard Clomid reduces ET lining. Has anyone who has thin ET lining used Clomid and became successful? I haven't undergone HSG yet but I got pregnant once naturally. Should I be still worried about fallopian tube blockage?

Pls pls pls answer me ladies!

    One more question ladies.

Also I verified with doc in US that I do not have PCOS. This has been told after looking at my uterus via ultrasound. But I have not checked it with current doc and she has not told anything too. Also in my follicular study, under uterus analysis column, its mentioned as 'normal'. Can I chuck out PCOS from my list or do I need any more test to confirm the same. I have undergone some harmonal test back in US during the prenatal checkup and also during pregnancy and everything came back normal. Please let me know ladies what are my next options. I cannot explain how much desperate I am. After my miscarriage, all I see is ladies getting pregnant in my family in the first try.

sorry abt ur miscarriage but a miscarriage n anovulation are two contradictory issues...
yes clomid does reduce the endo lining , so maybe u can try Letroz,
abt the tube blockage, that can be checked only by a lap or HSG
infert treatment in US is covered by insurance, it again depends on ur employer n which state u going to ...

I heard Letroz is banned in India and is not widely suggested to peeps right now. Is it true? Can I take any other medicine to improve ET thickness eg. baby asprin ?

Firstly, do not panic...do you know stress and anxiety can further complicate you issue? You are just 27...many people now-a-days get married around 30 yrs.
I went through something similar for my first pregnancy. Anovulation, CLOMID (second course) and a successful pregnancy. The second one was normal conception. I had a normal Endometrial thickness. Thank god a trillion times, I have a boy and a girl now.
In your case, it is very encouraging that you did conceive naturally, so the prognosis is even better! Please make sure you eat healthy, drink enough of water, sleep well and keep anxiety to a minimum. Have you checked you Hb and other blood parameters.
Not to worry, things will work out soon. Good luck!

yep letroz is banned as it is used in cancer treatment, but many of the infert ppl still prescribe it, u can try it for one cycle, u can always hv progestron inserts or orals like dupston post ovulation.

Thank you so much Vini and Mega for the information. It is comforting to hear from you ladies. I am blaming myself for postponing my pregnancy for such long period. My doc (in India) was concerned too, regarding my age factor and repeatedly asked me why did you wait so long - I worked few years in US and did my MS in US which was not easy being on H4, esp to me . In my community, this (infertility) is a very serious issue and they will name me BARREN if I told them what doctor informed us yes'd. My parents are so weak hearted and emotional people and they might not be able to contemplate anything I say regarding this matter. I am not able to share my agony to anyone except to my virtual friends in IL.

    @why me god
You did concieve once . So the chances of concieve ng naturally is more. .. But of course if you can def opt for hsg or lapro since there have been cases of the tube blockage even after a baby . Regarding your age nothing to worry you haven't touched 30 . It's always better to concieve early before 30 if given an option. But there are success stories post 30 as Vini says..
Btw I am one of them ..:)
    Take care
    Goodluck
    Isn't 30
