The basic character of an Indian Husband.... What is acceptable and what is not?

This is rather a tension free thread from me..:coffee. I know that people are different, one can not have the same characteristics of another one. Even twins have different characters, so we cant generalize here.

But, what is the basic qualities that a (an Indian) husband should have? What is basically right and what is wrong according to our context? To what extend one should tolerate and apply let it go policy when it comes to marriage?

The reason why I started this thread is.... I have seen sisters who have almost similar qualities/expectations and background (professional and personal) but when it comes to their married life they simply have two different extremes.:spin

For example... For A it is a must to have a good looking husband, else she will somehow feel bad inside and hence that comes out in her reactions. For B looking has got nothing to do with her marriage, but the pocket of the man should be really heavy :bonk( i mean a wealthy husband). For C, the man needs to be a supportive person that is to a point to extend his supports at the kitchen and cleaning.:hide: For D it is all emotional bonding and nothing is worth considering..:drowning Its a personalized matter... But when it comes to marriages.. be it arranged or love marriage, the family expect a person with certain qualities, specially the ones that a bride expects.

But after marriage, we cant say that the couple stay the same with the same expectation? Seriously not... But some one's basic nature never changes na?

Bottom line - How do you generalize the basic characters of an Indian husband that he should posses? What are acceptable and what are not?

Thanks for the hilarious post...

But an Indian husband comes with a package of interfering in laws which no other nationalities have. Last time I checked with my Arabic friend, and she too confirmed this... At least majority of our husband's have this problem that we must accept here.

Who wont love this idea? But how many of us have such a good mixture???
