How do you feel if your DH works from home though his work place is few minutes drive from home?? If one got the work from home option, then no point of separate work place....
Though fine with some things, feel like missing some privacy...Do anyone in this situation? how do you feel???

For me, I do not like him working from home, not because of any privacy issues, but due to the fact that he tends to work more, round the clock, always on call, someone or the other calling him up at any time. Plus the fact that I do WFH and both of us end up sitting in different rooms working and I cannot give much attention to him as I too am working and he getting upset that I am not paying attention to him despite being home :D

We prefer to work in seperate locations. On an odd Friday, when work is light, we plan to work at home together, with an intention to relax a bit ;-)

If during my vacation period, he stays at home with serious work in hand.. I go crazy ! :notthatway: I would rather have the house for myself, watching my fav shows in the TV..

Yep ! sometimes, we do need need our personal space.

I would love if my DH does WFH , coz our shift timings are different , week offs are different coz of which we hardly get time to spend with each other.. so WFH for him will be gr8 as I am already doing that :D

I think I'd go nuts! lol...I've been WFH for the past couple of years and I treat my home as my work and personal space..I really don't think I'd want to share it with my DH on a regular basis :) The issue is that I cannot work in a noisy environment and can get disturbed pretty easily...my DH can work with the TV on and music on his laptop! Even the sound of his tap-tap-tap on his laptop will irritate me when I'm working...so I guess it depends on each person's preferences.

My husband doesn't work from home, but something WORSE- shift work. He works Monday through Wednesday, from 0300 to 1500, and same hours alternate Sundays. When he's home-no privacy, no time to do housework-pay attention to him only*.

    * I don't work, and am not really SAHM, since kids are 14 and 13...

My husband works from home from past 2 yrs. There is no freedom or privacy. Above all he wants to occupy the living room..so you can understand what I am going through. Also with a 10 month old active baby, it gets annoying..when he is in the meeting and the baby screams..:bonk:bonk:bonk. One more main thing is that I have to give him whatever he asks for..eg:every hour a cup of tea...never gets up from his chair..only to use the bathroom:drowning:drowning
