This is different from regular khandvi which is prepared from besan and its more healthy than the other!!
1 cup soaked moong dal 1 cup yougurt pinch of asofoetida pinch of turmeric salt to taste green chilli paste and ginger paste for tampering mustard seeds,1 tbsp oil, tbsp sesame seeds for garnishing cilantro and grated coconut Grind moong dal finely usind 1 tbsp of water then add other ingredients and make a smooth batter then cook on medium flame while continuously stirring to check if is done spread some of the batter on the back of a small plate if it comes out as a layer it is done. Pour the entire mixture on to a greased aluminium sheet and allow it to cool. Then cut into stripes and roll prepare the tampering and spread over the khandvi and garnish

Oh wow!!! I love khandvi, but have always thought that it is quite hard to make, You have out it down in simple for us. Thanks a lot. Will surely try it. The pic looks mouth-watering.
