OCP pills side effects..Pls advice..

Hi all,

I have been prescribed Aloes compound(D1-D15) and Leptadane(D1-D28). If you read the leaflet, it says it helps in ovulation.ALso if we were in birth control pills for a long time, it wud remove those toxins and ensure normal cycles.

Since my hubby is abroads for next few months,my doc gave me a choice.

Either take Aloes Compund+leptadene OR KRIMSON 35(Birth Control pill).:coffee

My periods were irregular frm beginning, n PCOS, with many cycles of birth control pills when i was very young.. So I made up my mind not to turn around to those birth control pills which have horrible side effects like nausea,hair loss etc..

Now I am in dilemma wht to do.. I don want to waste next few cycles since my hubby can stay only for few months in a yr.:spin
If I take OCP pills and stop it when my hubby comes will that in some way block conception for next few months??

Hi Ransree,
Hope i am not late in replying you. You can try Aloes Compund+leptadene instead of OCPs. Along with that work towards regularizing your hormones. If you are high on weight side, work harder to bring it down when you are not trying. Do regular exercise, plan your diet well; these will do the good to some extent! Weight reduction does some good to those with PCOS.
Also try to find your ovulation time during this period, that might help you to plan the next course of actions!
If you are not with OCPs, you can effectively try when your dh is home!
