vaccines safe while TTC

    I need to take 3 Tetanus/diptheria (TD) shots as a part of immigration medical check up in USA,one this week ,2 nd after a month and last one after 6 months..other vaccines might reqd are Hepatatis B,flu shot,,do have to wait till next cycle for trying or it is ok to try for baby with these vaccines ..any pointers on this,experience ladies give inputs

    [JUSTIFY]Hey 27csa, Dh and I've had all those tests done last year and also ttc actively (ofcourse been ttc for years though). But haven't had any probs due to those shots. So I'd say go ahead..... But a note before they give a shot they would ask you whether you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant like that. If I am correct there are some tests which they do not run on ladies who are ttc and also require for this process. So just in case mention them that you are ttc, so they would skip those tests if at all you have to have them done for immigration purpose..... I did not remember the name of those tests other wise I'd have given you an idea , but anyhow good luck with your immigration process....the whole process is very stressful itself.......but try to not to be.....[/JUSTIFY]

    Thanks a ton for the info shanmukhabhavan,yes i am am gonna speak to civil surgeon before vaccines!!
