You can live in EDISON, ISELIN,PISCATAWAY OR RAHAWAY, All have good train connections to Newark, newark to Exchange Place take NJ path-Desi Town, you will feel at home, good school system and desi food Expensive option is to live in Newport, NJ and take Path or walk to Exchange Place
Hi Sorna, Welcome to NJ! The same topic has been discussed many times in this forum. Kindly browse through various threads here and you'll get an idea. Newark is not a safe place to live, Jersey city has city life - so there can be safety concerns. If you are living south of Jersey City, like Edison, Iselin, Woodbridge etc, your options to reach Exchange Place is take NJ transit trains to Newark and from there PATH's WTC line to Exchange Place. Please check njtransit.com for the schedules. There are few express bus lines to Exchange Place from the above said places. Few threads that might help you are listed here. http://www.indusladies.com/forums/housing-in-nj/151694-urgent-help-needed-please-relocating.html http://www.indusladies.com/forums/h...s-close-rail-transit-central.html#post2049015 Hope this helps!
Try woodbridge commons, Sharon Gardens etc. Those are condos. Check craigslist, you'll find private condo listings.
u can also try edison hollow condos, walkable to train station and many apartments have washer and dryer in them, mail me and if u want i can give u contact number as many of these apartments are filled before they are posted in craigslist
