Disney Pixar car Mania of my Son

    My Son (3.5 years) just loves Disney Pixar cars. He has a good collection(33 cars till Date) and still hunts for more. His favourite is Lightning mcQueen and Tow mater. He has watched cars 1 and Cars 2 atleast 10 times till Date. I am happy about the Quality of Disney Pixar Cars except for the fact that the prices pinch our pocket(A small car hardly in the size of a Match Box costs 400 bocks).

    Is there any IL'ites Kids who is crazy about Disney Pixar Cars???

    My grandson also likes lightning mcqueen and he had watched cars 1 so many times and went to theatre to watch car2.He used to explain me about all cars.

    My son is super duper crazy too...For his 4th b'day, we did a Car based party - mcqueen cake, dress, invitation, balloons, Kolam, posters, red color paper wrapped gifts..his minds thinks about nothing but "Cars" characters....I think craze is ok, as long as it is something healthy. I do agree to the cost part. We just bought him Finn and Mater yday...Rs 300 each..it is expensive.

    Btw, we bunked 1/2 day school and took him to CARS 2 first day first show. Something I have never done in my life ever (FDFS)...he loved it

    my son was a car crazy to the extent that when he was 2, he would go and sit in any of the car that was left open. we almost lost him due his same craze when he left our hand in a split second cross the national highway as our rental car was parked opposite..

    he had around 100 cars by the time he was 3.5..and all can be put in a small shoe box. (this is prior to the disney car ) once he wanted to bring them on a flight, when we were moving countries. we forgot to pack it. he had slid it into the hand luggage. we never knew.during security check we were detained and asked what are those tiny shapes...we had no clue..the officers than opened the bag and lo, there were cars everywhere on that table, down and all of us laughed. our checkin baggages were full, so we paid excess baggage for those cars at 4k (they were mighty heavy) then.. i remembered this when i read about your son's mania..:cheers

    he lost interest by 8 years. we stopped buying toys at 8. now he is 14 and book crazy..it could be a passing phase...

    Oh my son is also the same.He is just 3.5 and he has almost all the vehicles including Disney pixer cars lightning mc queen big and small ones, Trucks, tractor, train, helicopter, cop car, truck, fire truck and what not? But he is not yet satisfied.When ever we shop, he again wants some car and we are like:spin
    It's really very difficult to convince him and bring him out of the shop with out buying.At times we get so angry but what else can we do?
