Yesterday was a very silent night. The only sound was the tick-tick of the wall clock. The music which always obscured the tick-tick was missing. The silence, in the absence of the music kept me sleepless for a long time.

This music has many a times been the background not only for the saas-bahu serials, but also for the thrillers played on Television. When on phone calls during night, the voice on the other end has just evaporated many a times. All thanks to the great sound waves! I was first introduced to this music after marriage. In the course of time I have started liking it. The harmonic acoustics gives a soothing effect to my ear drums. Yes, sometimes the music does go out of pitch. But then who is perfect, even great singers lose the track sometimes. The rhythmic sound makes me desire to sway along to its tunes.:banana Wow! I love this music!:wow

I don't even have to request for someone to sing lullaby. Just few minutes of music falling on my ears and I am in deep sleep. I wake up to the same music in the mornings... And what a start it gives to the beautiful day ahead. It's nothing short of luxury.. Waking up to the sound of music!:cool2:

How did I miss another important point? The music guards our house in the night. I have to be more careful in the non-existence of it. Vid! Be more Alert!
    :eek:mg:

With my hubby (the musician) away and travelling on work, the musical night concert at home is suspended for one week. And so my days are dull and nights non-musical. I am eagerly waiting for him to come back and resume.

A grand welcome is awaiting for the grand musician!
    :welcome

Hahahaha Vid. I was wondering what it was - a disco near by, aeroplanes, barking dogs (but that could not by rhythmic). Oh Vid, he snores. And you can't sleep with them? Too bad. May be you should start providing the music yourself. Self help is the best help, you see?

    Hi dear Vid......
A nice post dear.....break ki baad......:)
    I can empathize.......100% with you....
In tamil, there is an adage...it goes like this....we would understand the pleasure of being in shade only when we are out in hot sun........
These little absences always mellow and make life more intersting and fine...I 'm typing this with a broad :).....Once, when my DH was away...I couldn't sleep...because of the absence of the music......and ended up watching movies after movies and welcomed him when he was back with red-eyes.....:rotfl
I am with our friend Kalyani....waiting for more interesting snippets in the coming days......:thumbsup

    Oh Vid, nice one.

I sometimes, when I think that rhythm/beat is missing I wake him up to make sure he is alright.

    Regards
