Break ke Baad!!!

    Hi Friends :hiya
    Hope you remember me...
    I am back after a long long break! And it feels so nice to be here...
    First things first. Wish you all a very happy, prosperous, fun-filled, joyful year! I wish 2012 brings lots of good things for all of us :) I know.. I know.. I am late:hide:

    So what was I so busy with? I am gonna tell you even if you don't want to hear about it... he he he...

    I was certainly not busy with shopping. Yes, this is a great time of the year with attractive discounts everywhere, but honestly I have not shopped anything this whole year! Ok, to be a bit more honest I didn't shop anything for myself. Ok, I will be a little bit more honest, I shopped few tiny winy things here and there. That's all! I cannot tell about the tiny winy things I shopped for as it would make this post lengthy and the readers yawny. So I will tell you about my husband's shopping. My major shopping achievement has been finding a woolen cap for my DH.:wow When we found one, I tried it on and enquired about the price. This cap turned out to be a real "topi". It was so exorbitantly priced. I was in a state of shock for few seconds after hearing the price. And then broke into peals of laughter. Did my laugh resemble the mogambo laugh (of mogambo khush hua fame)? The shop keeper's weird looks spoke it all. He looked frightened. Now, who would not with a crazily laughing customer around. After all he didn't sell any laughing caps. And there was no laughing gas in the air. So everything pointed to some fault in his madly laughing customer's brain. We left the shop after providing some free entertainment to the spectators there.

    Then comes my exercise regime (my next major topic in IL). I was not busy with workout either.
    My body seems to have antibodies (or is it antigens) against exercise. Sorry.. I forgot my history.. Oops! biology lessons. :hide: It's not responding to any of the exercises and I had two options "Wait till it responds" or "Force Close". (Options Copyright:Android. Did you guess I am techie?). I am choosing the second option, atleast for time being. It's high time I obeyed my body and didn't go against it's wishes. So my workout is off from my schedule for few days. Oh my! I am not even exercising.. And still busyWitsend

    My "Personal Tom Cruise" (PTC) at home is keeping me busy with his antics. The other day he handled the hot rasam vessel single-handedly(literally - single hand). Ok... I agree that Tom Cruise (the original one) climbed the world's tallest tower Burf Khalifa with a single hand (and help of all the hi-fi, ski-fi gadgets). But can he hold hot rasam vessel? I feel most likely the answer is a "No". Coming back to my PTC... No prizes for guessing what happened to the rasam vessel. The vessel met with the same result as Einstein's apple. And mistake is all mine. PTC was trying to copy me. He he... Copy Cat! He is always marvelled at the way how I manage things single-handedly in the kitchen. (Vid! Be modest, stop bragging) Little does he realize that this is a skill limited to the female species.:clap I hope he would give up copying me after few more such incidents.

    Last but never the least... The Big Boss!!! Big Boss is keeping me on my toes. Not the Big Boss on TV. The BB in my office who has given me tons of work (Yes, I weighed it). He is keeping my brain (if I have one!) and fingers (he he... I know I have them) busy. Har Ek Boss Kaam Deta Hai! :-( I hope I work out (work out of a different kind ) well and reduce the load. I can then get back to the wonderful land of IL without any breaks and spend more time here... Wish me good luck dears!

    Hi Vid,

    Lovely to see you here after a long long long time. It seems an age. I would normally have said "so sad, I don't like to see people having to work so hard" but now after reading this post, I will not say so. Your BB has given you a topic to keep us entertained with. :-D

    Hey, the other absolutely shock you have given us is:
    What???!!! How could you Vid? How did you bring yourself to let us down like this. It would have been a treat to read about your shopping expeditions. They are therapeutic for us (laughter therapy), good exercise for your PTC who is kept in shape following you and good for your health. Am sorely disappointed Vid. :-(

    However this bit has redeemed you Vid. Am so happy that you are not subjecting your body to torture of any kind (Indian, American, Chinese or Japanese).

    How could you do it. i thought you were good at multitasking, and how did you not go shopping, see we do miss your shopping episodes. don't worry, we will get more deals, these days, shops have learnt vidya would not come shopping without the lure of deals..so expect something soon..

    on your PTC, i believe most of the bhs want to impress the other bh on their super skills, be it the kitchen or with gadgets. and we are left to clean the mess..i only hope your C cleaned the rasam mess with a grin....hehe..

    Now, having seen your snaps you look sweet as you are, now don't go torturing the weighing scales or your body..i like that you are listening to your body..

    now boss jo kaam na deh, boss thodi na hota hai..may be he is now privy to your meandering in the IL la la land....??

    thumhaara yaha aana break ke baad bahuth acha laga..yesterday after a long time got a chance to talk to some pakistani guys (who had come to fix up some electrical points in the house) in hindi and I felt like continuing it..LOL

    It's high time I obeyed my body and didn't go against it's wishes. So my workout is off from my schedule for few days. Oh my! I am not even exercising..

    HA!!! That "I must listen to my body" excuse... Why did I not ever think about it.. the most interesting line I found in the entire post.. thank you dear vids, I am gonna use that line often in the new year...:wink:
