    Hi Pinki,

If u r trying to concieve with PCO's u should first visit a good doc who can identify clear problem if there is any. there are different methods of treating PCO's. Metformin is general medicine prescribed to PCO cases. besides this the doc does series of scans on specific dates to see if the tubes are not blocked due to these poly cystic ovaries. If the ovaries are not blocking the tubes then conception wont be interrupted. first find out if ur fallopian tubes are clear.

Body weight also effects conception. check if u are under or above weight. try to reduce weight if u r over weight and vise versa. Talk to ur doc while he/she is prescribing with inj and medicines to understand ur actual bdoy condition this solves many psychological problems.

    take care, all the best,
    sudha

    Thanx sudha 4 ur reply...

i have already got it checked... i don't have blockages in my fallopian tubes.. i think the problem with me is "unable to ovulate regularly"... i m not over or under weight nor do i have irregular period etc.. which are the symptoms of pcos... god knows when this problem will end and give me a healthy baby in my hands...

    Hi Pinki

Ovulation issues are one of the main causes of infertility, so many folks here are facing this problem. Normally you would go on Clomid / Femera medicated cycles to help induce ovulation. If that alone doesnt work, it would be tablets + Injectibles, and then IUI and then IVF / ICSI etc.

Are you visiting a good fertility specialist? First need to rule out other problems like thyroid. And then while on Clomid you'd need to be undergoing follicular study to check the growth of the follicles. Clomid would normally be started on 50 mg and increased upto dosage of 200 mg. Check if your doctor does all these, else get a second opinion.

Good luck on your TTC journey, and baby dust to you.

    Hi Pinki,

I believe wht u need right now is a good doctor. Go to an infertility specialist and not regualr gyne. Infertility specialists see and study ur case differently and try to give better explanation to ur problem. Are u aware of the reasons why ur first preg ended up in miscarriage? Infertility is categorised under 2 - Primary infertility:where there is no history of pregancy at all. Secondary infertility is people who have conceived naturally first and were not able to convieve naturally for 2nd issue; people who conceive naturally and have history of miscarriage.

Do visit a good doc. Only they can identify the real prob.
wishing u good healthy & luck,
    sudha
