Food coupons like Sodexho and Ticket are being used for illegal activities like hoarding and money laundering. Tracking their usage is also difficult. This is one of the main reason for doing away with them. Instead of levying heavy taxes and giving subsidies and tax exemptions, the govt is trying to reduce the overall taxes instead. I am hoping to hear good news on this front in 2012-13.
LoveUrLovedones(LuLo)ji, I think they can be used at local restaurants. I checked out with my neighbour kirana shop and they said that they will not stop accepting it. Now it doesnot matter to me whether these spencers, More accept it or not..That was a great relief to me. Please check with ur local kirana shops...
Hi, Only these Big Retailers like Reliance,More ,spencers etc are not accepting the sodexo.. other than that many local retail outlets are accepting. Check in sodexo site to know what are the shops that are accepting it and we can make use of it.
