Life is full of ups and downs

When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a
manner that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
Experience is a harder teacher because she gives the tests first, the lesson afterward.

The above quote is so true. We learn everything with experience. The year 2011 was a very enjoyable year for me and learnt so much from the experiences I had that year.

The year 2011 started with functions. I could attend so many functions and meet so many people which made me so happy and I was in the top of the world. I always share everything with everyone and boast when something good happens and feel sad when something bad happens.

Me and my dh go everywhere together. Its not only for attending the functions but also to forget our loneliness. Our children and grandchildren being abroad miss them very much and to forget those worries we go out so that in the midst of other friends we can forget about them, though it is not so easy to forget. My husband being a social worker he is most of the time busy and I am left alone in the house , thanks to IL that I am able to share my feelings with everyone here and spend my time.

As I enjoyed the full year to put a full stop to that I had health problems. Also I think God wanted me to spend time in thinking of Him and reading spiritual books so he gave me rest. December 2011 was very tough for me with health problems but due to God's and elder's blessings, concern of friends and relatives and well wishers I felt better by the end of the year.

I was telling my maid dont know who cast eyes on me that I am having health problems for which she was saying she only cast her eyes that I look good when I wear pattu sarees and that in this age also I am also so active. One day she is telling me you enjoyed going out the whole year so now you enjoy lying down and watching TV. I felt so bad when she said that. She does not know the worries I have and to forget that I go and attend functions. Everyone has some problem or other , noone is hundred percent happy. But the world sees only the outward appearance and comes to conclusions.

As I do not log in much to IL I felt sad that I could not give the first fb to many posts and was surprised to know that my nomination got an award for Prana's thread, otherwise I am always the first one to find out who has won the awards.

The year 2012 started with wishes first from my IL friends, then my office colleagues and other friends and relatives. Usually I want to be the first to wish everyone.
