Nothing!!!

Its been a while since i wrote /posted anything here.. for a while there, i imagined the world missing my posts and holding a vigil at my window entreating me to write. :hide: No such thing happened but still I felt compelled by my sense of duty to share my non-existent pearls of wisdom with the unsuspecting world. I sat down on my computer, trying to think of something...waited for some incredibly funny lines to come tumbling out from my brain cells but my brains had either gone on vacation or they were on strike. :drowning I tried hard to dig deep into my treasure trove of memories to get inspired, but zilch. Maybe a good nights sleep would clear the fog and in the morning i would be flooded with words that would flow effortlessly onto the lappy. As i lay down to sleep, i let my imagination run wild and some smart ideas did come to me... I saved them to my memory but when i woke up, i couldn’t remember what they were. :rant


Should i write about the time i was locked out of my house in my nighty in Abu dhabi early one morning when my husband was out of town and I had to go through the most embarrassing wait at the building supervisors office in a sleep dishevelled state that too in a nighty, while he called my husband to confirm if he had not locked me out intentionally !!! Noo...writing about that would make me cringe all over again in embarrassment and live through the indignity of it !!



Or i could go back to my school days and write about how i was nearly thrown out of the school for playing with an Ouija board in school and asking dumb questions to the spirits about the teachers who were right next door in the staff room listening to us. My mom was cordially invited to school for a chat about how my “spirited” behaviour was not at all appreciated. Only my good grades saved me from expulsion but that didn’t save me from my mom’s wrath.:spin




Or should i share my incredible and deeply philosophical thoughts about life, the purpose of our existence ( my daughters do think the purpose of my existence is to feed them on demand or turn a blind eye when they facebook at at time when they should be facing books) :bonk



Or a rant about dh would always be good for me – but then i wouldn’t stop!!:rant:spin:drowning


Maybe i should write a fiction - ohh the possibilities - should it be a comedy, tragedy or horror?? i imagined karan johar paying me an insane amount to get my story... wow!!



Wait... i have already written so much about NOTHING. KJ can wait !!!!



So here goes folks, my first snippet of the year and it is about nothing ... hopefully the journey of nothingness will continue through the rest of the year!!! :thumbsup

now it is funny, but at that time, i wanted earth to swallow me nighty,messy hair and all!!! These guys really have some crazy ideas - apparently it is an accepted thing for men to lock their wives out in case of a fight!!!
I wonder how those women in serials always wake up from sleep with fully made up faces with lipstick and mascara intact!!! I dont know abt naughty but those school days were really fun

Thanks ani, I have had few embarassing moments in my life, but that one did take the cake!!! We have a hearty laugh thinking abt it, but at that time, i didnt know where to hide. My dh found the call extremely amusing.
A lesson well learnt, i dont step out of the house - even to take out the newspaper without taking the keys to the house!!!
