The Forum for January 2012 is:

Beautiful Kitchen and Spotless Home

Trying to organize a room can be very intimidating. A little organization is needed for clutter free home. Let's aim for clean house, clutter free and organized life at home. Maintaining a spotless home and having beautiful kitchen is certainly a dream of everyone. Learn and share how to organize your home with us and win an exciting prize !

Some do's and don'ts to be followed for this contest:

DOs:

1. Make your contributions for this contest ONLY in the Beautiful Kitchen & Spotless Home forum (NOT in this thread or forum).
2. Your discussions should be pertaining to only about maintaining clean home and well organized kitchen.
3. Your thread should be carrying information, discussions and experiences of your own.
4. The contest ends on 25th, January 2012.

DON'Ts:

1. No posting (copy-pasting) articles or information from other sources (like websites, books, magazines, emails etc.)

Dear IL Team..

Appreciate this Idea. A very good start for a new year. Very useful topic. Who does not want their kitchen clean and tidy. Who does not like their home tidy. In fact I find my In laws place spic and span compared to my Mom's place. Just wanted some clarification.. In the do's list I get a link " Beautiful Kitchen & Spotless Home" However when I click it .. it leads me to a list of threads. Now my questions are
1. Must the first person who enters this contest start the thread "Beautiful Kitchen & Spotless Home" and every body post details in that there on?
2. or just randomly start keep posting ( however that does not make much meaning as OTG repair and stuff does not come under the topic)
3. If point 2 then How will it be decided which thread to visit, where will the tips be posted and how will the judges decide which is best?
Please clarify

This being a monthly contest, you need to start one or more threads under 'Beautiful Kitchen and Spotless Home' sub-forum. Your thread should be informative and invite participation from other users. Avoid generic discussions as we are expecting better focused discussions here. The thread that gets maximum responses and participation from other members within the contest period will be selected by our panel of judges.

If you can't clean as you go, take 15 minutes a day to clean your kitchen
Never go to bed with a dirty kitchen
arrange items according to the need
Spray a kitchen cleaner on the stove top, tabletops, and counters
Sweep the floor with a broom quickly if necessary.

Here in bangalore, small cockroaches are more and spoils our mood while cooking. Nowadays the medicine from pest control also doesnt work.

Dear IL Team....
First of all let me thanx to IL for adding me...am totaly very new born baby for this site...but i think i will enjoy here with all of you...mmmmm here discusion is going on clean kitchen n home...really its very tipical to keep kitchen clean all time, but if we follow some rule than it can be possible for every one to keep clean kitchen..first we should make our habit to keep every thing on proper place after every use..this habit will really works...
