HSG Test, TTC from past1.5 years - Sick and Tired :(

Hello Friends,

From the past 1 year i have been a silent viewer in this forum. Today i decided to post something i have been going through.... I'm 29 yrs old married since 3 years and I have been TTC from past 1.5 year. Have been visiting Fertility specialist from past 8-10 months. First time When we went to the doctor, she asked to take up Follicular study. That is when i realised, there were no mature follicles atall on day14. After that, doc put me on Diane 35 + Hyponidd+Folwise Plus for 3 months. That when i realised, i have PCOD Issue. I took it up seriously and started going to aerobics aswell. Infact i'm a Normal built person with 49kgs. With aerobics and medication,i reducedto 46-47kgs.
1st Cycle - She gave Letroz 2.5+Duphastom(15days after ovulation). My folllicle in Right ovary grew more than 40mm (My god!) didnot ovulate
2nd Cycle - She said to try naturally+duphastom(15days after ovulation). Luckily i ovulated (LEft ovary), but no pregnancy
3rd Cycle - She asked to continue the same what i did in cycle 2. Didnot ovulate
4th Cycle - She put me on Clofert 50mg+Progynova+Duphastom. Ovulated 2 follicles, but no pregnancy. Today i got my periods on time.....

She asked me to take up HSG test in next 2-3days+ Vaginal suppository(Aliveher 3 times a day from d3 to d20). I feel like if its a treatment or torture! I'm feeling very bad that even after ovulation happening,not sure what else is causing the problem. Thats the reason,whenever i knew i ovulated from trans vaginal scans, for next 15 days i didnot even go to aerobics thinking it might disturb conception.
These Monthly tvs scans, Tablets, vaginal suppositories,running behind aerobics, cooking, cleaning and apart from that i'm a working woman, i feel like crying and running away from all these.... Please help... HSG - i will hate it i think...donno how its going to be.....

I can understand your situation I have also gone through this in my earlier cycles so many time i didnt ovulated even after my follicle reaches to a good size and even after taking hcg shots.....I have also done my HSG in june.
Its not that painfull ya little discomfort and pressure when dyes go through your uterus and tubes but believe me test hardly took 15 mins for me and in next 10 mins i was allowed to walk and I got a mild cramps on that day and then no pain or cramps after that . But really it gives the best idea of ur tubes uterus cavity and all...

Yes,same as vldelhi said...for me it took 15 min nearabout and no pain at all only ur period like cramps ...that day later i had some pain in abdomen as dye spread in abdomen cavity but its not that intense.

i can understand u guys very well bcoz im also sailing in same boat.
I n my case hit is i dont have any problem nor do my hubby has any thing.
consulting doc from last 1 yr. even doc was surprised abt these that we r still trying. he said me that 5 yrs ho gaya marriage ko, u should have concieved till now..... as both of u dont have any problem ...... lol
last month finally i went for 1st iui .

unfortunately it failed
againi will be going in jan....
keeping my fingers crossed.

So what i personally thinks paitence is best option for girls like us as god must have planned something special for us..

Sorry about this struggle. With current pollution level, there is a big crowd in infertility centers; we are the pray to the pollution & environmental changes... We don't have any other way than fighting forward to improve our health!
Yes, its big torture to undergo all these medications, tests & treatments, but have to take it up to fulfill the motherhood! Be positive. One day or the other, all our struggles & effort will get paid of! Be positive & strong & bold till them. Don't stress yourself. Stress is the worst enemy to all our TTC attempts!
We never know what is the reason that fails our attempts... Actually its hard to know the failure reason inspite of all good things till 2WW end time! Just keep trying until you see the positive outcome!
HSG might be little tough on you now, Just prepare your mind for that!
