    aparna,
i have a dd who completed 3 recently..i am not much interested in a 2nd issue but my DH and in-laws are. my husband is the only boy in his their family which means his uncles and all..so my MIL is eagerly waiting for a boy.now my DD and DH want only a chelli/daughter no boy..i myself have less inclination towards boys(not to offend anyone..please dont get it wrong).i have a very cordial relation with my MIL.now i dont want either my MIL or my DH,DD to be disappointed..so am thinking again and again if i should go for a 2nd issue or not.i have some health prob bcos of c-section.

How can families put pressure to have a boy. We have to take whatever we get and be happy. As long as the baby is healthy and normal they should be happy.

True, but see the families want a grandson.. My in laws are very sweet to me, still when i was pregnant for the second time they all prayed for a buy only.. I know if it had been a girl they would have treated her the same way like how they treat my son, but now they are so happy that their generation is growing!! Basic human feeling!!

Do u feel that with daughter the generation will not grow? We have so much of assets and that shouldn't be given to daughter?
Many new generation people have changed now and people like girl more than a boy baby.
