cataract eye operation help

    Hi Friends, My mother in law has cataract problem and she has to undergo the surgery in chennai. Will you please suggest a place around ANNA NAGAR where she can go for eye operation. Please let us know the reasonable amount charging hospital. Thanks in advance. UMA RAMU

    HI uma. my dad got both his eyes operated in shankara nethralaya...

    Egmore hospital.. They are most famous for this.. You can also check up with Agarwals.. and they also give some concession for the economically backward people...

    Hi Uma,

    My motherinlaw got her cataract operation 15 days back. They also stay in annanagar only. It was done in Vishnu eye clinic, annanagar. It is very clean and neat, they went early morning and came back in the afternoon and she took rest for a week and then started her routine work.I really don't know the correct address. Both my inlaws had their operation there only. seems to be a nice hospital.

    You can goto Appaswamy hospital in anna nagar near the Arch. They are very good. They are into eye care for many years.

    Hi uma, nice to know the surgery went on well. With the modern techniques it has become quite common and a easy surgery too. Only post operative care is the most important one. Hope you are all taking adequate care. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
