Dear amunique, you seem to be a cat lover like me. Are you? I have a 5 yr old cat called yosho whom i adore. My nutrionist's name is afroze sultana and she works for spaarc at alwarpet.phone no--43009213. Fix an appointment with her. They charge 500 rs the first time. The second review is free i think. I am not sure. You can refer my name .do not mention the diet chart. I dont know if she will like me to talk about it. She is a sweet girl very friendly and helpful. Hope this works for you and you get results.

    Hi chitra,

i really appreciate you for taking the first step towards healthy living by consultng a nutritionist instead of gaining half cooked knowledge from here and there.. an expert is an expert.. most of us want to be healthy but dont like to go to gym or a nutritionist.. nothing wrong in being so. it is just natural.. u hv taken the extra effort and it clearly shows your determination.. i would recommend you to also go through the below given website by Rujuta Diwekar, which is a real eye opener on health ascepts.. Rujuta Diwekar

she wrote a book called " dont lose your mind lose your weight".. i loved the book and from then my approach to weight loss or healthy living has completely changed.. just browse through this website when u get time and pick a copy of the book if u get it. it is available in all popular stores.. i think it is around rs.150/-.. it can be bought online too.

dieting is a punishment.. punishment cannot be a solution.. so first we hv to understand the difference between dieting and healthy living. our mind set is very important.. for eg: if we want to have a gulab jamun:

A person who is dieting : NO. not allowed.
    -------------------
A person who is on his way to healthy living :

    1) r u sure u want to have it? if yes, go ahead.
    2) Have just one.
    3) try to avoid the sugar syrup and hv only the jamun.
    4) dont hv it ALONG with a meal. have it as a snack by itself.
    5) Since u r having it today, try to avoid it for the next few weeks.
    6) ok buddy enjoy the sweet and get back to your work out.

the difference is obvious. in healthy living there are no rules. u just understand your body and your food very well. u love your body and are trying to help it in every way. u r not breaking a rule to have a sweet but are trying to understand what u r going to do to your body. slowly your mind and body work in perfect co-ordination and have a perfect understanding of each other.. fitness / weight loss / toned body etc etc is just a bi-product.. enjoy healthy living..

Great discussion! I have a 1 yr old baby and now i find it very difficult to loose weight. Tried the gym for some days but that routine did not work out for me.
I read a book called "South beach diet" and now i am reading this book "Ultrasimple diet" by Mark Hyman. But they all suggest eating more of proteins from animal sources which will not match our lifestyle.

I am looking for a good nutritionist who can help me . Chitra , can i consult your nutritionist?
