Minor Period like Cramps during 17th week of Pregnancy -Is this Normal?

yes you should consult doc right away ..there may not be a reason to worry but still..dont delay

 

Generally cramps around this time are due to Uterus expanding to accommodate your growing fetus. Unless if you have very sharp shooting pain on the lower right side, and that too for a long period of time (2 hrs and above), it could be an indication of appendicitis.

That said, your post that you have light brownish discharge.. not sure what to make of it.You might want to get that checked with your doctor.

 

Good. Most probably it would have been round ligament pain due to uterus expansion.

As others said,it should be uterus expansion.No worries as far as the blood is not red in color with a heavy flow.
I had such bleeding twice during my early pregnancy,and it was nothing to worry.
For your satisfaction,you can consult your OB-GYN.

I have had varieties of this brown discharge too even at 22 weeks, 24 weeks etc...But everything turned out ok and there was no reason for it...Just so to be sure, ask for ur cervix length when u go next for check up...Nothing to worry i suppose...You will gain weight as you go on...Its normal to lose weight in first trimester...I think the triple test screens for nuchal tube defect and Down's syndrome...I am not sure..I only took fetal anomalies test in 24 weeks....
