TTC troubles...

    Hi All,

    Have been silent reader of Indusladies from a very long time..posting here for the first time.
    My husband is suffering from azoospermia, first time when we got this news around 3 yrs back, we were devastated, thought the world has come to an end for us. went through many treatments including homeopathy, ayurveda, and what not. we accepted the fact that my husband could not father a child.
    Finally decided 1.5 yrs back to go ahead with iui with donor sperm.I went through 3 cycles of IUI in Manipal Hospital, but the result was negative. although was happy with the doctor and treatment there, but finally its the result that what matters. When i asked why IUI did'nt work out, since all my reports were normal and i was expecting the first IUI itself to be successful, it was nothing the doc would say, she said it all depends on god.
    All of you kindly suggest any other hospital in bangalore to go ahead with IUI. I am also open to going and taking treatment in mumbai or delhi. Basically i am from north and have been living here in bangalore from last 2 years. I want to try couple of times more with donor sperm, i just hope god listens to us this time, otherwise the option left with us is adoption.
    Hoping lots of prayers and suggesstions from all of you.

    Spinach cooked with moong dal helps sperm issues...Don't stop trying naturally...

    Thanks for your suggestions..but we have tried all methods, homeopathic, ayurvedic, nothing seems to be working. Finally we decided on donor sperm, but i did IUI 3 times with donor sperm, that also did'nt work out, even though i dont have any problem.
    Kindly suggest good doctor in bangalore where IUI success rates are high. I am planning to go for IUI with donor sperm again next month.

    Have you thought about going for IVF instead of IUI.. they could still work around with donor sperm.. and also u could check with ur doctor if there are any other tests that u need to perform to find out whts wrong..u take care .. and stay positive..

    i am in doubt whether going for IVF is worth it or not..anyways we will be going ahead with donor sperm only and cost of ivf and pain is too much...and that too there is no sureity of the ivf also going successful...
    i am in dilemma what to do..
    today i had also mailed malpani hospital in mumbai, and they are also advising for ivf..is there no chance of conception through IUI after 3 failed cycles...

    Some time stress do affect our trying process. If you are stressed with any of the stuffs, try to calm yourself first. When we are with least stress; happy mind, our body will function normally. At those moments our hormones will function very fine & the least of the TTC trials will bring success in those moments. Its all Stress that delays all our precious attempts! Try to move that away from your life!

    Don't rush to IVF. Give it a try with few more IUIs it might help. Whether you have analyzed the reasons for azoospermia? If not, try to address it as well!

    Trust your body; trust in GOD! Hope Miracle will happen in your life.

    Hi maya

    My DH friend had same issue like your husband. he went to Urologist and underwent one small surgery one month ago to release sperm (i am not sure about the surgery), now he is on ayurvedic treatment. his sperm count and motility is better now.

    If you like you can go to a better urologist and tell about his issues. They will do some tests and if possible they will do a small surgery to release sperms. he want to take rest for only one day
