Hi All, I am suffering from Acne for past 5 years now and any medicines(benzoyl peroxide, saslic acid etc) or beauty products(pro-active etc) , home remedies(multani mitti, rose water, sandalwood powder etc) have not worked on my skin. I recently had a baby and due to more imbalance of hormones, i have started getting big pimples all over my face. I need to know if anyone has gone through any acne treatment and found success. I was doing some reserach on the net and came across two possibilites which might help me. 1) Homeopathy (longer run) 2) Chemical peels/derma rollers ( may be immediate relief) If you have any information or your own experience to share, it would really help me. cheers, Selene.
Try using Clean & Clear's Acne Clearing Cleanser. And wash your face regularly with mild soap like pears or herbal soap, (chemical free soap is good).
Try going to the Doctor and see if he will prescribe any tablets, my friends acne vanished after she was put on some tablets to balance her hormones
Hey sweetpinks and meja, thanks a lot for your replies, but mine is hormonal issue and whatever external creams or gels i try it is not working. Pink.Rubies, thanks a lot for ur suggestion. I am a bit skeptical about taking any horomonal pills. but will surely visit a doctor soon and start myself on some treatment at the earliest. Really fed up of these pimples on my face since 5-6 years now. -cheers, Selene

Hiiii, Well i have gone through the Acne issues bothering you, Acne - There are different types of acne. The most common acne is the type that develops during the teen years. Puberty causes hormone levels to rise, especially testosterone. High hormones cause signal skin glands to start making more oil (sebum). Oil releases from the pores to protect the skin and keep it moist. Acne begins when oil mixes with dead cells and clogs the skin's pores. Bacteria can grow in this mixture. And if this mixture leaks into nearby tissues, it causes swelling, redness, and pus. A common name for these raised bumps is pimples. Actually u didnt mention ur age as such...Do specify that,ur desire towards food,ur aversions towards food...etc ,ur bowel movements... i could very well help u with this situation and promise u for a wonderful cure as well....and am sure Homoepathy would tackle this dear. hi selene, if you are not feeling comfortable with hormone pills, try out himalayas neem capsure. Its supposed to work since it would not have any side effects, you would also not get in to new problems by trying it. all the best! :thumbsup
