@peacock dont worry dear. even i was diagonised with PCOS two yrs back. we were planning for kid at that time. i dint get pregnant till six months. i was new in US. went to gynic n came to know its bcoz am having PCOS. she prescribed medicine "metmorfin" also called as " glucofage". she aslo asked me to control my weight and walk for 30 mins daily. and it worked. i just took it for 1 and half month and got pregnant.also i lost some weight. now my son is 15 months old. so dont worry. ask your doctor about this medicine and if it is not available in india, ask for any substitute. take care.

    Jignasha.
