What is the best form of removing/hiding facial hair (sideburns , chin) bleaching/waxing/threading? I know laser would be best but I cannot afford it plus I have PCOD so I am not sure it would work on me.

    Thanks

re: Need remedy for Facial Hair

    Hi ac00

I do face waxing regularly to remove the facial hair...its the best method.Threading can be done but its painful...Bleaching is also ok but should not be regular as it hampers the face skin.Bleaching can be done occasionally like during functions.

Previously i was doing face waxing once in 15 days. But now i am going for it once in a month coz the growth has been reduced....

Thanks for your reply but I have a question regarding waxing. I heard it will make the skin very loose and sag.

    Dear Ac00

If you have PCOD then please consult an Endocrinologist ( that I think you already are ).For someone who has hard and coarse hair growth Laser is the only solution.

If you cant afford laser right now then use Eflora Cream by Ranbaxy. It will slow down the hair growth but make sure that u continue with your hormonal treatment. Then you wont have to wax so much.Actually on face waxing should be avoided but unfortunately Bleaching n threading wont solve your problem. And Waxing is atleast better than these 2 ways.Check this

1.Wash that area with Nature's Essence mint cleanser ( its anti septic cleanser)
2.use katori wax for waxing. Its very mild n doesnt irritate skin at all.then it has aloe vera.
3.Apply ice immediately for few mins.
4.Then apply neosporin oint ( u wont get any bumps at all).( you can even take any anti allergic tab like cetrizine or avil but thats not required if u use neosporin oint)

    All the best

Bleaching is the best way, if you have less tiny cat hairs.

If you have long hairs, then sugar waxing is best.

If you often wish to do twice in a week, you can opt for threading.:)
