Hi, if you want a typical Indian neighbourhood, then you can go in for OPC, wherein supermarkets, restaurants and other convenient places are very close. the rents are comparatively the same and you will have ample of Indians there, I dont recommend Meena Bazaar area, bcoz of choas n traffic.

2nd option is Karama, rents are from 45k for 1BHK to 65 for 2 bHK

3rd - Umm Hurair area, close to Consulate area, rents more/less the same

4th - The entire Mankhool/Golden Sands area, posh area; rents from 45k for 1BHK to 75 for 2BHK

hope the above meets your requirement :)-

    Hi,

If I m correct, Al Warqa is equally far from Karama/Bur Dubai.

The traffic is usually bad during working and returning home hrs, otherwise it is not a nuisance. Karama and Bur Dubai is both commercial and residential like Rolla in Sharjah. School buses drop children on time, dont worry on dat front. i dont know much coz my daughter is yet to join school.

You should visit Dubai on a weekend and see yourself. With metro, going to Malls and other places has bcome very feasible and the network of Buses is just marvellous. Mobility is thus very easy here in Dubai and ofcourse unlike Sharjah, the mode of transportation are various.

In my earlier msg, i 4got to mention that since Mankhool/Golden Sands is an upscale residentional area, the rents are much more higher than 75k pa...

    Hi Antu,

There is one more option. Ghusais area too has Indian residents. There are many shopping malls, hypermarkets and restaurants in this area. Metro and buses helps one to commute with ease. Since your daughter's school is in Al warqa, the school buses take the Emirates road to reach the location which hardly takes 20 to 30 mins.
The rent is 35k for 1BHK and 40K for 2BHK. You have Al Wasl residential buildings in Muhaisinah (Dubai Govt) with one covered parking free.

As geeta mentioned, visit the place and see which will suit you the best.

    Good luck.

    Devi.

    hi,

    OPC means Old Pakistani Consulate

As Devaradhan mentioned, Ghusais is also a multicultural and more of Indian residents. Cant say more abt the place since i know less of it.

    regards
