How TO Make Picot Stitch & Attachments For Sewing Machine??

    Hi Vani
    I need help from you. I purchased a singer sewing machine 10 days back. I wanted to do pico on a saree. I tried everything but couldn't do it. What feet should i use for doing pico. I searched online also but couldn't find anything. the feet that i got with my machine are all purpose feet, button hole feet, button sewing foot, zipper foot and narrow hem foot(this one can neatly roll but didn't work). I tried with narrow hem foot. bobbin thread bunched and cloth was pulled inside the machine. Please help me.:drowning:drowning

    s have got Usha janome wonder stitch.We have got a separate foot which rolls the seam while sewing.we have to use Zig Zag option while stitching.Scince you say that there is a pressure foot which rolls thre seams use zig zag stitch along with the pressure foot.Stitches becon-mes tangled when you do not thread the machine properly .check the bobbin thread also.while sewing we pull the thread some times.then it happens. All of us have dine that mistake while learning. Best thing is to call the shop keeper and ask for free demo. They will do it.I have not used Singer machine.

    there shd be picot foot seperately...few steps to remember...thread tension shd not be very tight...zig zag stich shd be used..stich length shd be minimum..

    search for "How to do a Rolled Hem on Sewing Machine" in you tube. There is a clear video there.

    Hi Hansika,

    I am glad you are now able to do a picot stitch. The steps are same as in the video except that your stitch to zigzag and adjust the width of the stitch. By practice you will be able to do well. All the best.

    Attachments for Singer Sewing Machines

    Hi,

    Does any one know where I can get more attachments for my Singer Sewing machine? I am looking for things like Chain Stitch attachment, Pin Tuck Attachment, Circular/Flower Stitch attachments etc.

    I have seen some on Amazon but none are available in India.
