I am pregnant but dont want baby

    Hi

    I am newly married (date:10-september-2010). I got periods on 19/sep/10.
    It has been 32 days from my origin of previous periods time till now(i.e till 20/oct/10)

    Today I went to doctor and she told that i am positve in pregnancy test.

    When could this conceiveing intercourse would have taken placed?Is that during my ovulation period i.e the days between that 10 days after 19/sep/2010 and 10 days before my next period date-19/oct/2010..?

    The important thing is i dont want baby now .I am newly married and i want to enjoy life for one year nearly.My current age is 27.
    When asked to doctor she told,there is no tablets to prevent baby formation after the pregnancy test is positive.Is that true?

    She told that she could have helped if i had approached her before having intercourse with my husband(By giving tablets before intercourse).

    She also added that,If DNC is performed which is first time for me( DNC for first baby),then there is no guarantee for the formation of second baby....
    Is that true?

    Please help me,I dont want baby now....

    Yes, what the doctor said is 100% true one of our relative went and aborted her first baby without her DH's knowledge along with her mom.IT has been nearly 25 years of their marriage and no kids.Is that necessary ?

    kdk, if you have sex without any protection then chances are pregnancy is bound to happen.

    What is your husband's opinion on this?

    Please find my answers in blue above. I suggest you go to a good doctor where they give you options which are suitable to you. Like I said, DNC at this early stage is uncommon.

    EDIT: I am not sure if your doctor has explained you how D&C works. It requires sedation and the method is also invasive. So, abortion though this method is fairly uncommon.
    You just need to go to a bigger hospital where they give you more options.

    Make sure you talk to your Husband, and your doctor to understand the options and what your husband's input is as well.

    You can also talk to your family if you feel they are good for an open discussion.

    I husband and family members also says dont want baby for now...
    Can i take pills to prevent baby forming or whether i want to opt for DNC only?
    What pills can i take for these much long gap of pregnancy period?
    Can i get through in medical shop,as doctor is not giving pills?
    Is this early stage for taking pills or it is late which leads to chose DNC?

    When many ladies are wanting to have a baby and not getting and when you have conceived with God's grace, my opinion is to have the baby. If you do something now and dont have the baby later in life you have to repent

    Are you going to abort your baby? OMG... Though it is your personal choice and I have no say in that.. I would just like to raise my opinion on this matter. Pls dont feel bad...

    If you and your DH (and his family) are so adamant that you dont want a baby right now, then you guys should have used some protection before intercourse.

    There are so many options ranging from taking pills, using a condom or getting pep tablets immediately after having unprotected sex to prevent pregnancies. But you were careless and now you are pregnant. Which means you are carrying a life in your tummy...

    Soon this tissue will become as a baby with hands and legs and that will start to kick you to show that she/he is existing in you.. and he/she needs your attention. Its a life... and it is totally depending on you.

    Its not vise to do DNC at this stage, as it might harm your future pregnancies.

    Visit the TTC forum if you are free.. and see how hardly our fellow members are trying to get pregnant and how badly they are facing social pressures in this regard.

    Remember.. Now your DH and inlaws are taking about unwanted pregnancy, but the same people will start talking bad about you for not having a baby after sometimes... Is that worth to do a risky DNC and lose your chances of becoming a mom in the future?

    Its just a matter of 9 months... And in the meantime, there is no harm in enjoying your life... You can even go for trips and eat all types of foods after your first trimester. Moreover, its just the part of life... You dont need to sacrifise anything, but to adjust some of your life's priority for the baby.. That's it...
