Very beautiful and colourful rakhi, Harina. You could stick or stitch some coloured stone, chamki or sequence to make it more decorative and attractive.

Re: Three C - chocolate cup craft

    Hi Vijaya
I tried the chochlate cup reciepe....dint work for me... :-(
I got dairy milk chochlate(4 bars)...dint have boiler...so placed the chochlates(right out from fridge) on a vessel that was kept on top of boiling water...opened and kept for some time, then closed the vessel(thinking that was the reason for the chochlate not getting melted)...but the chochlate dint melt...again i smashed it with spoon and kept again...dint work...
after a long time,i kept it in cooker ,gave 3 whistles...still nope, dint melt... :-D
added little water and made a little thick but the chochlate had become a little hard..i mean it was like bournvita that dint get dissoved in milk
    tried to apply on balloons(as u said,applied after cooling the chochlate)...dint work..broke 1-2
then on one balloon,i applied...but the prob is it dint stay..becoz of the silky texture of balloon ,the chochlate started to move away from the balloon
with great difficulty,i tried to aply some chochlate, kept in fridge for 2 hours....took out and let out the air from balloon...but only a small part of chochlate cup came well...nothin else...by that time, the chochlate had become toooo chochlatey and was difficult to eat
Atlast i served 2 scoops of icecream with gems topping and small pieces of chochlate to my family..... :-(

    Now after this story...my doubts
    (1) what silly mistake have i made in this experiment...should i not have kept the chochlate bars straight from fridge...but i had kept in cooker also
    (2) how to apply in ballloon...how to prevent the chochlate from moving out of balloon
(3)how long should the chochlate balloon kept in fridge before taking out

Overall, please point out my mistakes...donno wer and all i went wrong
    thanks
