I need suggestions for some good Indian restaurants in Atlanta, we would be coming from out of town and are looking for some best buffets available.

We used to go to Minerva couple of years ago....but for the last 2-3 years it's just not what it used to be.

    Thanks....!

Yes I vote for Sri Krishna vilas too.

Another suggestion : Madras Ganesh Ram .
This is Strictly only Vegetarian indian restaurant. it will be typical Tamil nadu style .

Sai Murali is also a gud restaurant in Alpharetta,
    Madras Chettinad,
Bar-b-q-tonite in Norcross(Very tasty Hyderabadi Biriyani and 100% Zabiha Halal)
Sri Krishna Vilas is very gud specially Sea Food(though lil bit smelly)
Hot breads(Windward Pkwy) - Gud chat stop
Gokul really rocks specially Gokul special Fried Rice in Decatur area
Saravana Bhavan - Nice for Mini Idlis and Sholapuri
Amma's Kitchen - gud for Chilli Pakoda and their special Thali
Jerusalem Bakery- Very gud Zatara Roti and Shawarma(Also Veg Pizza)

I have been here in Atlanta for more than 2 years now and I have been exploring Indian restaurants here...

    Good ones:
Royal Indian Cuisine (value for money)
Saravana Bavan (number 1 South Indian restaurant as we all know)
    Zyka (rated good)
    Udupi (better)
    Krishna Vilas (hmmm, OK)
A restaurant in Global Mall (forgot the name) - where you get good punjabi thali

    I had bad experiences:
    Viceroy - bad
    Mirch Masala (bad service)
Ammas Kitchen (bad service, very low value for money)
    Royal of India
