    Srini, dear comrade of yore,

Thanks for all your earlier messages and emails too .
We are all limping back to the old routine and Romeo came out to play today which is very heartening indeed ...our hearts are lighter now after having shared our grief and reading lovely messages of consolation.

    Dear Uma,

So good of you to stop by and share in the grief and send a message to condole, though we have never interacted in the Pets Forum I think.
This is the speciality of IL ....people can share their grief with anyone who has a kind heart and is ready to lend a shoulder to cry on .Thanks again for passing by
    really appreciate it.

    My dear Supriya,

It was very heartwarming to read your message of condolence.
Julie had ben an active participant in the Pets Forum during the launching period .Quite a few of her pictures with our Romeo had been posted.
As a final farewell . I sent across these 2 pictures .Amazing that she looked so well at nearly 15years, but in truth she had been ailing with cardiac problems and had been on medications from 2009 June.I had written about that earlier too .She went thru a bad patch then ,but with the good Vet's ministering and our own rigid following of his instructions we were able to retain her till April 2010.We are truly grateful to God for that .
    Thanks for stopping by.

    Dear Paulina!

Sorry dear to hear the loss of cute Julie. Very touching post. My DD was literally in tears - she loves dogs - the second photo itself brings tears.

Am sure though Julie is no more, she is sure to stay for ever in your hearts.

Sorry Paulina. I was in tears when I saw the second picture. My doggy is also a pomeranian and I felt very bad for yours.
Pets give so much happiness in our lives but they dont need anything except their daily food. And its really hard to bear the loss of a loved pet.

    Dear Soldier,

Thank you for your kind message.....Julie has gone to sleep forever ....she really needed that rest after all she gave us unconditional love for 15 years which is a great life span for canines .We are eternally grateful for that , but we do remember her often and can't stop recollecting about her every day...as you said she lives in our hearts now.

    Dear Vaidehi,

Thank you for sending a consoling message...yes, she must be sleeping peacefully now at the feet of her Maker after having given us so much happiness for 15 years.

    Dear tinku,

Thank you for sharing my grief as an ardent pet lover and owner of a Pom.
So true, our doggies become such as integral part of our lives ....as vital as oxygen itself! So when they depart it takes a long while to come to terms with the loss .We are getting back on track and our big Lab dog is much better though subdued after the little one's demise .God was kind enough to lend her to us for 15 years and when HE called her back and said " You must rest now ...that was splendid work for 15 years ! " ..she answered her Makers call obediently.

    My dear Paulina,

Though my post comes late, you have been in my thoughts since the time I got to know about sweet Julie's demise. You must be feeling so forlorn.

I know words are just too insignificant at such moments and may not give any real solace. Mourning for her is the only catharsis at such times. I sincerely hope that you are feeling a little better now though you miss her cuddly presence.

Loved her picture Paulina, the second one was too too sad even to look at. So I know how upsetting it must have been to you and your husband.

Your granddaughter is surely too wise for her years and her words were so precious.

    Hugs,
    Kamla
