    Hi shiva ,

    thanks for the reply.:)
few things more . please dont mind....

    1) i dont use oil to make dosa. i am lucky that i have a nonstick pan which doesnot need oil. yesterday onwards reduced the no to 3.

    2)adding some salads in between.

    3) the curry that i use is with the coconut ,but not adding oil .the fish is also curry without oil and coconut .
    4) can i eat fried fish ?:hide:
    5) dinner time i used only fruits and veg till now (its 3 weeks now!) now i am comfortable with that so should i change it?
tell me if there is any health problem if i take only frts and vegs.

    6) i have not joined in a gym ,but i have an elliptical at home . we have a gym in our layout but no trainer. so i go there and do the tread mill and abs slimmer

    7) when i try to increase the load i keep panting and i drink water in between. is it ok to drink water when we do excercise?

    8) i do drink normal water 3 ltrs a day. should i cahange into hot/warm water?

    waiting for ue reply.
    love and regards

    Hi Raji,

Good to hear from you. Here are your answers

    1) i dont use oil to make dosa. i am lucky that i have a nonstick pan which doesnot need oil. yesterday onwards reduced the no to 3. - Great

2)adding some salads in between. - Great

    3) the curry that i use is with the coconut ,but not adding oil .the fish is also curry without oil and coconut . - OK
    4) can i eat fried fish ?:hide: - We are on a weight loss and no weight gain process. Fried fish are a big no, once in a while will do but not often.

    5) dinner time i used only fruits and veg till now (its 3 weeks now!) now i am comfortable with that so should i change it?
tell me if there is any health problem if i take only frts and vegs.

If you are OK and are not hungry at night then please continue with this routine.

    6) i have not joined in a gym ,but i have an elliptical at home . we have a gym in our layout but no trainer. so i go there and do the tread mill and abs slimmer

    7) when i try to increase the load i keep panting and i drink water in between. is it ok to drink water when we do excercise? - Drinking water is fine, keep taking a sip whenever you feel extremely thirsty while exercising. Please do keep changing the load every after 2 weeks once your body is comfortable with the workout. We need to constantly challenge the body.

    8) i do drink normal water 3 ltrs a day. should i cahange into hot/warm water? - Your water intake is good, if you want you can sip hot/warm water but it is not a necessity though I feel it helps somehow during weightloss. I do take hot water.

Hope I have answered you questions, please feel free to ask any more. Have a great day ahead. In case of any doubts and questions you are always welcome to ask in this thread.

    Have a great day ahead.

    Hi Shiva,

Glad that I came across this post, you have inspired so many fellow ILites which is really amazing.

Even I am trying to reduce my weight especially my tummy part. I was 61 kilos, now i am 56..I have PCOS problem as well but my menses are perfect.

I do not take any oil stuff, sweets, chocolates, reduced my intake of rice and have rotis, drink juice wihtout sugar.

I do pranayam for half n hour and walk for 15 mins everyday after dinner( this is during weekdays)

During weekends I walk for 20-25 mins and do pranayam for an hour..

Let me know whatelse can be improved?

    Thanks a ton in advance.
    Pandu

    Hi Pandusk,

Good to hear from you. Your weight is perfect, I guess only the tummy fat is left. For a flat and toned tummy work with a expert gym trainer (if you can). Once the ideal weight is reached and only tummy is left we need to do tummy exercises as well. If you want a flat tummy then gym is the only place I can think of. But make sure your trainers are good and you see a difference in a month. If you join a gym do ask for leg press, it is a wonderful machine that does wonders to the tummy as well.

Once more thing along with the gym that works is a tummy massage. Slimming center offers tummy tucks but it is damn expensive (around 750 per session) and you will need around 8 session moreover, mostly there no difference. The best way is to take 1-2 session and see how the massages are done and then get them done at home (much more easier and simpler). A massage really works, its a very old method, make sure the person who massages has a firm strong hand. Check out tummy massages on youtube, you will get the idea.

Its usually the combination of a good training session at gym and massages that does the trick.

Hope this helps. You have a perfect weight you just need to tone up. This is all that I can think of now and I sincerely hope that it helps you.

    Hi Shiva,

Thank you so much. The problem is I do not find time to go to gym, thought of doing bending exercises at home. What do you say?

    Thanks,
    Paandu
